In order to be present in as many locations as possible and offer the best service, Mitjorn has different delivery sites. 

We have offices located in the main tourist spot on the island, the Port of La Savina, and we optionally offer a free delivery/collection service of the vehicle at your place of accommodation if there is no office nearby. 

At all Mitjorn rental points we offer the same excellent service, as well as a wide and varied fleet of new vehicles, extras and services for the convenience of the customer. 

To make a reservation online you can pay with a VISA or MASTERCARD credit or debit card or by bank transfer. Once at the office you can pay in cash or with a VISA or MASTERCARD credit or debit card.

Our car rental service includes two helmets, fully comprehensive insurance with deductible, unlimited mileage and taxes included.

Motorcycles: You must be 18 years or older, present your passport or ID, and have a credit card or cash for the deposit. In addition, your driver’s license must be valid in Spain. 

Bicycles: To rent a bicycle, you will only need your passport or ID, and a credit card or cash for the deposit. 

Cars: To rent a car, you must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of 2 years of experience with your driver’s license. In addition, you will need your passport or ID, and a credit card or cash for the deposit. It is essential that your driving license is valid in Spain. A driver is considered a new driver if he or she is between 21 and 25 years old. If the driver falls into the new driver category, the rental of a car will incur a charge of €6 per day.

50CC MOTORCYCLE: Min. 18 years, B/AM, B license (more than 1 year). 

125CC MOTORCYCLE: Min. 18 years, A1/A or Min. 21 years and +3 years of experience with B. 

300CC MOTORCYCLE: Min. 21 years and A or A2 license. 

*Note: If the driving license is not from a country in the European Economic Union or does not have an agreement with Spain, you must present the international license. Likewise, valid licenses are governed by the law of the country where you drive, not the country of origin. 

Yes, it is necessary to pay a security deposit to rent the motorcycle. The deposit can be paid by credit card or cash. No charge will be made unless there is an incident justifying it. 

Yes. You can ride all our motorcycles with one passenger. 

No. It is strictly forbidden to ride a motorcycle without a helmet. Both the driver and the passenger must wear the helmet properly and fasten it, on any type of motorcycle. 

You are covered by comprehensive insurance with a deductible. For any damage that may be caused to the motorcycle, or its theft, you must pay the amount stated in the deductible contract. If you have contracted extended coverage, you are covered in case of damage, but not in case of theft. 

Extras and batteries/chargers (in the case of electric vehicles) are NOT included in the coverage. 

The basic insurance is included in the rental price and only covers damage to third parties. This insurance applies to all contracted models. 

Basic insurance conditions: 

1. Deductible for damage or theft of the vehicle: In the event of damage or theft, a deductible will be applied depending on the model.
2. Deposit: At the start of the contract, the customer must deposit a deposit that will be refunded at the end of the contract, unless damage to the vehicle is detected.
3. Roadside assistance (during office hours): This is included in the basic insurance. If the cause of the breakdown or incident is due to the customer’s negligence, roadside assistance may have an additional cost.
4. Accessories and extras: Accessories (keys, helmets, batteries, chargers, etc.) and extras (trunk) that may be contracted by the Client are not covered by the indicated insurance. In the event of loss or damage, the Client must pay the corresponding cost, according to the prices specified in the terms and conditions of the signed contract.

Yes! You can add extra coverage to protect yourself against damage to the vehicle, depending on the model contracted. 

Extended Coverage. This coverage includes: 

1. Deductible*: €0
2. Deposit: Reduction of the deposit by 50% (depending on the model).
3. Roadside assistance (during office hours): This is included in the extended coverage. If the cause of the breakdown or incident is due to the client’s negligence, roadside assistance may have an additional cost. 4. Accessories and extras: Accessories (keys, helmets, batteries, chargers, etc.) and extras (trunk) that may be contracted by the Client are not covered by the indicated insurance. In the event of loss or damage, the Client must pay the corresponding cost, according to the prices specified in the terms and conditions of the signed contract.

*Note: This coverage does not include theft of the vehicle, additional accessories or batteries/chargers (in the case of electric vehicles). In the event of theft, the basic deductible will apply (see question 9). 

It is not permitted to leave the island of the vehicle. Such circumstances automatically cancel the insurance, and entail the loss of all the money paid on account and the cancellation of your contract. 

Yes, we do. In step 3 of your online reservation you can add the extra “Delivery/Collection of the motorcycle”. Choose it and we will bring the motorcycles and the selected extras to the location you have chosen (hotel, apartment…). 

Remember that the staff will only wait for your arrival for about 30 minutes from the time selected in the reservation. 

Our modification policy is as follows: 

• In order to modify your reservation, you need to sign up for the Flexible Rate.
• If you wish to modify your reservation, send an email to info@mitjornmotorent.com 24 hours in advance.
• Modifications with less than 24 hours’ notice are not permitted. 

Our cancellation policy is as follows: 

• In order to cancel your reservation, you need to sign up for the Flexible Rate.
• If you wish to cancel your reservation, send an email to info@mitjornmotorent.com 24 hours in advance.
• If the cancellation is made with more than 24 hours’ notice from the start date of the reservation, 100% of the amount paid for the reservation to be cancelled will be refunded.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are not permitted. If the cancellation of the reservation occurs without notice, the lessor will not make any refund.

The person responsible for the rental must inform the rental office of any changes in the contract in advance. This must be done directly by phone. As stated in the terms and conditions of the rental contract, Mitjorn will charge €50 as a penalty plus the cost of extra time if the motorcycle is returned late without prior notice. It is illegal to drive a rented motorcycle once the contract has expired. 

If you want to extend the contract, you must inform the office to make a new contract. 

The rental days are 24 hours from the moment the vehicle is picked up. A maximum of 30 minutes of courtesy is allowed, after which one more day is counted. 

If you return your vehicle before the end date stated in your rental contract, yes, you will be refunded for the unused days adjusted to the days of rental use. 

Yes, you must fill the tank to the same level as when you picked up the vehicle. Any difference in the petrol level will be charged to you according to the terms and conditions of the rental. No refund will be made if the vehicle is returned with extra petrol.

You can request the invoice corresponding to your contract at the end of the rental at the office or by sending an email to info@mitjornmotorent.com In that same email you must indicate the billing information and the contract number. Our administration colleagues will resend you the details of your invoice via email. 

Pre-authorization: Please note that this amount is not charged, the bank is only asked to block it for the duration of your rental. Once this has finished, it is automatically released. This does not generate any charge or credit movement in your account. 

Deposit: We make the payment automatically after returning the vehicle. The refund to your card balance depends on the bank, it can take between 7 and 15 days. 

Cash: Cash deposits are returned directly at the return office at the end of the rental. 

Remember that this amount is always unblocked in the account associated with the credit card with which you made the deposit.
